Cookie Policy
1. What this covers
This policy covers cookies and the other ways the Supplier Hub can store information in your browser. Calling everything a cookie would be inaccurate, so local storage and session storage are described separately below.
2. What we currently use
3. Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the service to work and cannot be switched off.
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| redtech_one_session | Keeps you signed in and maintains the state of a form you are working on, such as a saved accreditation application. | Session, or 120 minutes of inactivity |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Protects form submissions against cross-site request forgery, so another site cannot act on your behalf. | Session |
| redtech_visitor | An opaque identifier used only to attach your cookie choice to this browser. It carries no personal information. | 1 year |
| redtech_cookie_prefs | Records your choice so the banner does not reappear on every page. | 1 year |
| remember_web_* | Set only if you tick "Keep me signed in" at sign-in. | Until you sign out |
4. Optional categories
These are declared so the mechanism is in place and your choice is meaningful. None of them currently load anything, because no such technology is deployed.
| Category | What it would do | In use today |
|---|---|---|
| Preferences | Remember interface choices such as a selected filter or a collapsed panel. | No |
| Analytics | Measure how the hub is used so it can be improved. | No |
| Marketing | Support advertising measurement. | No |
5. Other browser storage
Besides cookies, a web application can store data in your browser in other ways. For completeness:
- Local storage. Not used by the Supplier Hub.
- Session storage. Not used by the Supplier Hub.
- IndexedDB. Not used by the Supplier Hub.
- Service workers and offline storage. The hub is not installed as a progressive web application and registers no service worker.
- Browser cache. Your browser caches stylesheets, scripts and fonts as it would for any website. This is ordinary caching, not tracking, and clearing your browser cache removes it.
Your draft accreditation application is stored on the server, not in your browser, which is why you can resume it on a different device through your secure link.
6. Third-party content
Interface fonts are loaded from Bunny Fonts, a font service chosen because it sets no cookies and does not profile visitors. No other third-party content is embedded, and there are no social media widgets, advertising pixels or embedded videos.
7. How consent is recorded
When you choose, we record the choice, the version of this policy in force at the time, the date and time, your IP address and your browser details. That record is what demonstrates a valid consent was obtained, and it is kept for accountability.
A later change is a new record rather than an edit of the old one, so the history of what you consented to and when stays intact.
8. Changing your choice
Open Cookie settings at any time, from this page or from the link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and takes effect immediately.
9. Browser controls
Your browser can block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you signing in and will prevent forms from being submitted, because the protections that depend on them cannot operate.
10. Changes
If we introduce a technology that falls into an optional category, this policy is updated, the version changes, and you are asked to choose again before anything in that category loads.
